What is Sapphire FUE hair transplantation?
Sapphire FUE is a hair transplantation technique in which follicles extracted with FUE are placed into channels prepared with a sapphire-tipped blade. “Sapphire” refers to the blade used to prepare the recipient channels, not the tool used to extract follicles.
In hair transplantation, it is not just which tip we use, hair density in your donor area, distribution of grafts, front hairline and natural direction of hair growth is also important. That's why, in the initial consultation, we first examine the condition of your hair loss and the area where we can get roots. We share with you how we will plan the layout in the recipient area.
Sapphire tip is one of our tools in the channel preparation stage. By itself, it does not guarantee more hair growth, scar-free treatment or faster recovery for everyone.

Aftercare After Sapphire FUE Hair Transplantation
After the operation, we want you to protect your transplantation area from friction, impacts and unnecessary contact. We explain the first wash time and the products you will use according to the personal care instructions we give you.
In the first days, redness, slight swelling and crusting may occur. We recommend that you do not pick off the shells, do not scratch the transplantation area, and do not apply strong water pressure during washing. We also explain the care of the nape area.
Some of the transplanted hair strands may fall out temporarily in the following weeks; New hair growth occurs within months. If you experience increasing pain, fever, discharge, or unexpected worsening, contact your healthcare team without delay.

What is Sapphire FUE hair transplantation?
In the application known as Sapphire FUE, we remove hair follicles one by one from the donor area using the FUE method. The term sapphire does not describe the graft extraction method, but the tip we use when opening canals.
What is the difference between Sapphire FUE and DHI hair transplantation?
In both approaches, hair follicles can be removed with FUE. In Sapphire FUE application, we first open the channels with a sapphire tip and then place the grafts. In DHI application, we place the grafts with a special implanter pen. We consider the appropriate approach together with your hair structure, transplantation area and the condition of your donor area.
Do I need to have my hair cut for Sapphire FUE hair transplantation?
At the initial consultation, we explain how much hair should be shortened for the donor area where we will take the roots and the hair transplant area. The need for shaving may vary depending on the scope of the procedure to be performed; we do not want you to cut your hair yourself before the meeting.
Is Sapphire FUE hair transplantation completely scarless?
No. Small scars may occur at the points where we receive grafts with FUE. The visibility of scars depends on hair length, skin structure, extent of application and healing. The use of sapphire tip does not eliminate the risk of scarring in the root area.
How many grafts are transplanted in the Sapphire FUE procedure?
We do not determine the number of grafts solely based on the size of the opening. When is the first wash done after Sapphire FUE?

When will the transplanted hair grow after Sapphire FUE?
After the operation, some of the transplanted hair strands may fall out in the first weeks. It takes months for new hair to grow and the appearance to become clear; varies from person to person. When evaluating the process, we do not accept the early period outlook as the final result.
